Boarding requirements and procedure
Five steps to boarding your cat at Little Pawcious, our cat hotel in Geylang, Singapore, from checking they’re ready to dropping them off with us.
- Book at least 2 days ahead
- F4 vaccinations or VacciCheck
- FIV/FeLV negative in the last 12 months
How boarding works
- Check the admission requirements. Make sure your cat meets our requirements before you book.
- Read our terms and conditions. A summary of our boarding terms is below.
- Make a booking. Choose a room, pick your dates and pay to secure them. Your confirmation email arrives within 1 to 2 days.
- Fill in the admission form. We’ll WhatsApp you the link. Send your cat’s health documents at least a day before check-in.
- Check in. Check-in is 2pm to 6pm and check-out 11am to 1pm daily. Late check-out until 6pm can be booked online. If you’ve booked our transport, we’ll confirm times on WhatsApp.
Admission requirements
We check every cat at check-in to make sure they meet these requirements.
General
- Cats should be free of illness and injury at check-in. If your cat has recently recovered, please bring a written note from your vet certifying they’re fit to board.
- Cats must be sterilised if they’re 8 months or older at admission, or showing signs of sexual maturity. If recently sterilised, they must have had at least 14 days to recover from surgery.
- Owners must complete the Boarding Admission Form and agree to the boarding terms and conditions at least 24 hours before check-in.
- Any known aggression or fractious behaviour must be disclosed in the Boarding Admission Form, and owners must arrange an in-person assessment.
- We’ll give every cat a physical check at check-in to make sure they meet the admission requirements.
Vaccinations and tests
- F4 vaccinations, or valid VacciCheck antibody blood test results.
- Kittens over 10 weeks old must have had at least one vaccination. If your cat can’t be vaccinated, we need a vet’s note giving the reason and certifying them fit to board.
- Negative FIV and FeLV test results from within 12 months before the admission date.
Parasite prevention
- Cats must be protected against external and internal parasites for their whole stay. Bring a pipette of spot-on treatment for us to apply at check-in, or ask us to apply one.

- We are not qualified to interpret medical test results, diagnose cats in our care, or make assumptions about their health unless certified otherwise by a licensed veterinarian and/or disclosed in writing in the Boarding Admission Form.
- Rooms can be booked online at least 2 days before the boarding date, and payment must be made to secure your preferred dates.
- Cats that don’t meet the admission requirements will be turned away at check-in, unless the issue can be resolved quickly.
- We provide complimentary services and amenities, such as daily updates, daily interaction time, daily maintenance grooming, housekeeping and disinfection.
- If medical care is needed, we can bring your cat to the nearest available vet on your behalf. With your consent, we may also give over-the-counter medication for minor ailments.
- We may be able to board cats with chronic or long-term conditions.
- Booking changes are free, subject to availability. Cancellations made more than 14 days before admission receive a full refund, less a 3 to 4% processing fee based on the total paid. Refunds don’t apply to cats turned away at admission, no-shows, or peak season dates.
- Bookings on popular dates and public holidays are strictly non-refundable.
- Owners must collect their cat within 24 hours of the agreed collection date. Otherwise the cat will automatically be deemed abandoned, and we are released from further liability and responsibility for the pet.
- Owners allow us to use their pet’s name and any images or likeness of their pet taken during their stay, in any form or format, at any time, in any media, marketing, advertising, illustration, trade or promotional materials.
- By engaging our services, owners release us from any liability for bacteria, viruses, fungi and parasites that can go undetected without laboratory testing.
